One of Europe's most popular and most respected saddlemakers, now offering various dressage models on an innovative new saddletree. The K2 Genesis Dressage is built on the new Genesis tree in which the head can be changed by a saddler. A modular synthetic saddletree which allows the width fitting of the saddle to be altered.

For the SLK Platinum Ultima, to maintain correct fit and balance, Albion has chosen to incorporate the genesis tri-form tree, a traditional tree with completely interchangeable head fittings. This allows the saddle fitter to select and change, if necessary, the fit of the tree when measuring a horse. In conjunction with genesis, Albions unique switch panel system allows a simple exchange of panels that will ensure the correct balance of the saddle through all phases of a horse’s development.

BARNSBY...
The traditional wooden saddle tree has always successfully provided comfort for the horse and a safe, secure seat for the rider, but one of it's drawbacks is that all horses' backs are slightly different. So Barnsby have developed their APS (Adjustable Point System)saddles, in various formats in their Eight-Series range, so the saddle may be altered from Medium to Wide fit by the turn of a key (this should be done only by a trained saddlefitter).

After more than five years of extensive research and development they have also developed their Xtreem range of lightweight competition saddles, in Eventing and Jumping formats, built on a super-lightweight Carbon Fibre tree, weighing less than 3.5 kgs.

KIEFFER...
This German company developed their PPH-synthetic saddletree some years ago, and it has been very successful, as it allows every saddle to be altered to infinite widths, by the use of specialised infra-red heat equipment. Then they introduced their '3000' saddletree, which was hinged to allow the rider to adjust the width of the saddle, using a special key. Recently they also introduced their 'Excellent' seat system, which gives the rider more comfort, and now the 'Exclusive' seat system, which allows the tree to be width-altered without the heat treatment.
